Ember is warm memory, bottled. It opens like a fire being lit, with clove, pink pepper and a flicker of orange blossom. Roasted chestnut, guaiac wood and juniper form a smoky, nutty heart, and the evening ends on vanilla, Peru balsam and cashmeran: creamy, resinous and soft, like warm wool.
